Comments:

Several seasoned NX6T San Diego Contest Club and SCCC OPs made an attempt to run
NX6T remotely from Anza Radio Ranch ( W6BH (SK) site now owned by John WA6TQT,
who graciously hosted N6KI, K6AM, N6NC and N6CY REMOTE OPs). Slow internet
connection after much maneuvering of ways to get faster data etc failed and
N6KI and K6AM dropped out of the Anza remote operation effort after couple
hours, leaving N6NC and N6CY. ANZA remote experiment failed due to dropped
packets with poor internet speed. Going to Plan B on that issue.
Fiber connection is coming to Anza but we can't find out yet, whether it will
be 5 months or 5 years. Finding a 20 to 30 mB Download / Upload source in Anza
has been problematic and maybe some faster data coulb pulled of from a cel 4G
LTE provider. N6NC and N6CY tried to do most operating during hours when users
in the Point to Point Microwave service, were off line - mainly nightime and
early A.M when pops and dropouts of audio and keyboard lag were minimal.
Definitely like showing up a gunfight with a knife. 73 de N6KI
