Comments:

We decided to enter M/S LP again hoping to better last year's (winning) score.
Well, we did it, with 31 minutes to go. We improved the final score by just
over 1% over last year's.
The antennas at the VE7UF station are designed for CW operating, so we just ran
barefoot with the internal tuners while trying to stay as low as possible in the
SSB portion of the bands. the low power and the high losses made SSB a
challange, but we like challenges.

With literally zero sunspots I was not expecting much and was not disappointed.

On 6m and 2m I was once again able to work VA7FC across town, and special
thanks to VE7NS whom I was able to QSY to 10m with 80 minutes to go to get at
least the 2 "BC" multipliers there.

15m was almost dead, but with great persuasion and patience we were able to
make a few contacts to big-gun stations for some much needed multipliers.

20m and 40m did very well, there was always answers to our CQ's and even some
S&P was possible at times.

80m and 160 was not very active but we succeeded in QSY-ing several mults from
40m.

Thanks to all who complied with my QSY requests, almost all attempts worked.

Great activity from Canada, of the 888 QSO's, 545 were two pointers, 300 ten
pointers and 43 "RAC" twenty pointers.
207 unique Canadian callsigns. 11 unique RAC's.
Worked all 13 provinces/territories.

Thanks to all who called and to the volunteers at the RAC who organize and
maintain the contest.

73,
Gabor, VE7JH
