I went portable on Sunday morning, taking my FT-817 and 19 element K2RIW yagi up
to a nice spot in Tuftonboro, NH, in FN43jq, with a nice view to the west, south
and east. I heard some signals, but no one could hear me with my 5 watts. I
copied K1TEO very well along with N1JEZ. I also heard AF1T, but no one had
their antenna pointed at me as far as I could tell. K1TEO had lots of multi
path so I know he was pointed elsewhere. I had limited time available, and was
disappointed that I could not make any contacts. QRP is a humbling experience!
