Comments:
This was the first TEAM event in quite a while for the South Texas DX and
Contest Club. It was great to have the competitiveness and peer pressure of
the Team and the contest for motivation to keep the goat butt in the chair for
long times in front of the rig.
Someone in the deep dark history of STXDXCC noticed that the club station was
in the middle of a goat pasture so it was natural that the club members became
goat of advanced age and the organizer of team events naturally became the
"Goat Herder". This honored position of Goat Herder for this contest
is Tom O'Brien, AB5XZ. By making this entry on 3830scores.com I am guaranteed
that the Goat Herder will not be bleating at me for the rest of the week.
Thanks to Tom for butting the rest of the team into getting on the air for this
fun 12 hour event.
