Interesting results for decide the morning before to travel from Albuquerque to
near Winslow and park the RV on a vacant spot truckers use to sleep! Thanks to
Murphy, I was 45 minutes late Saturday morning. But I made up it by operating
an extra hour thanks to looking at a local clock, instead of N1MM+! Sorry to
the 40+ folks I worked feverishly to make 900 QSO's. Now I have to work
through my notes to make the next county expedition even better.
The rig (K3/KPA500/KAT500) performed flawlessly into an Alpha-Delta DX-CC, a
poor choice for a fiberglass mast. However, that combination made an
interesting picture. This setup is a work in progress!
