Comments:

Partially due to N8XX's comments on the CWops Yahoo page I decided to challenge
myself even moreso from the car this morning than usual.

I made 3 quick 20m Q's with EU with 100w (no NA heard)

Then I made 7 Q's on 40m with 40w in short succession. No big deal, right?

With 40w and a 4' antenna on 40m, I am sure I was not loud. More likely I was
barely readable.

There were stations at 559 who heard me right away, and others WELL OVER S9 who
I called and called and called (who were just CQing) that never even gave me the
time of day.

Am I upset? No. Did I eventually move on? Yes. If I had been running (or
CQing ) they would've stepped all over me. I would've moved. That's the way it
is when you are pi$$ weak.

COngrats to K7SV, VE3KP, K3WW, K3WJV and a few others who all heard me.

Mike VE9AA/m.....09 MINI +.....FT-857D, 4' stick & 40w this morning.
CU this weekend if I can find my microphone.
