Only operated 10,15 and 20m this round. Amazing conditions on 20m, it never
closed, and my best runs was when 20m was otherwise dead quiet (ie no other
signal heard) across the band..
10m was a star performer - for about an hour.. snared 8 zones (4,5,23,24,25,
29,30 and 31)in minutes, then it slammed shut.. Thank goodness the
multi-multi stations had an operator up there..
Missed zones 1,2,22,34,36-40.. next year..;-}
Thanks to George K5KG for advice on adopting a proper low noise headset.. made
a gigantic difference.
