Comments:

K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care
retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC. In the
Oct. Pre-Stew, 160 m. operators were N3UM and W3GB.

We did the Big Stew in 2014 and 2015 but never the Oct. Stew
before, so we did not know what conditions or activity level to
expect. Both were good: we made 10 EU QSOs, many Qs in W7, and
1 in CA. Our 265-QSO total was close to the 269 we got in Dec.
2014 Stew but less than our 350 in Dec. 2015. In hindsight, we
thought we might have come closer to 350 Qs if we had run more.
We did get 102 Qs in a 1.6-hr. run 2240-0115Z for 64/hr, and
shorter runs, but also did S&P.

We made a few Qs 20-22Z Sat. and a few more Sun. 08-10Z, but
85% of our Qs and 86% of our points came 22-05Z, 18-01 EDT.
>From 22-23Z we got 64 Qs and 134 points running, 2.1 pts/Q.
Then 04-05Z we got only 30 Qs S&P but 150 points, 5 pts/Q
since 7 of our 10 EU QSOs came then, worth 12 to 16 points each.

We'll definitely be back for the Big Stew in Dec.
