Started the weekend with optimistic goals and made some of them. Goals: Clean
sweep {check}, 500 QSO's same as CW {Short}, Raise bar on AK section MOLP record
{check}, Had fantastic food available for every shift {Double Check}.
Traci KL7TH licensed last month is a natural in the chair and provided amazing
meals and snacks. Artisan vegetarian Pizza - Amazing. All make on a wood
cook stove. This station is totally off the grid running on solar panels and a
small generator.
Paul KL4ET newly minted General is ready for prime time.
Ended the first night with 50 sections. Traci and Wes Sunday morning reduced
that to 9 sections needed by mid morning (missing at that time NE, NLI, NNY,
WPA, PR, SC, MS, GTA, ONN.) A bit past noon with the full team on deck it
was down to (MS, SC.) A chance switch to 15 meters (Wes is claiming this as
genius) resulted in MS calling us! OK Wes is a genius.
Then our bleating on air request for SC resulting in Phil KR4NO making our day.

First low power station from AK section making sweep in over +10 years.
