Comments:
No time available for an all-band effort so just played 40m. Conditions were
awful both nights. No EU opening here and had to work hard for almost every
contact. Reminded me of 10m on a bad day. Lots of spotlighting & one-way
skip. Caught a few EU during morning grayline. Tried CQing but only attracted
'zero pointers' so virtually everything was S&P. Finally EU opened late in
the contest, along with heavy QRN from storms over SD & IA.
Had fun, nothing broke and I didn't mess up the XYL's TV. Life is good!
