Comments:

My goal was to improve upon last year's score of 1,176... met my goal and more!
I went into this contest with limited time, so I didn't really care about
hourly rates. Using an IC-751 running 75w with an 80/40 dipole at 10' and a
20/15/10 G5RVjr at 5'. All contacts were "S&P". 40m and 20m were
my bands for the contest. 40m was amazing...like working CN2R Morocco at 4:30
pm...amazing. My 'water gun' station played very well on 40m and 20m second
best in this contest. When 20m got a bit tiring, I moved to my other favorite
band - 10m and made some Qs. The neat thing about 10m is that you typically
don't hear the stateside pile-up, just the dx station. So 10m gave my ears a
break. One only hear one other Swamp Fox and that was Bill, N4IQ who was making
noise. My DX catch was Guyana thanks to 8R1/AG6UT. I can't wait until next year.
