Comments:

Worked SOSB80(A) to check out a beta addition to a 160m inverted L over FCP.
Modification operates it as an 80m endfed halfwave L, without any additional
wires. For 80 it switches in a high Z tuning network and adds a switched in
short in the FCP to move it to 80m.

Figured that the CQWWCW would be absolutely top shelf test of the concept. Was
worried at first, but others around here said low band conditions were awful
first two nights. Sunday night local dusk opening until 00Z end were a splendid
2.5 hours. RBN showed more than satisfactory signal strength into Europe.

I'll take the score as proof of concept. Country and Zones way exceeded
expectations.

We'll be watching how we stack up against the opposition. This would put a lot
of small lot hams into serious 80m signal category.

Rig: K3 + Alpha 8410.

Antenna: (now 80/160 agile) FCP at 11 feet, aerial wire up 55 and out 88.
