Comments:
Had two objectives going in: A) Test newly installed 160-L and B) Break current
Delta Division MSLP record. BOTH were achieved/surpassed.
A) New 160-L is 90 feet vertical, 45 feet horizontal, with 32 ground radials @
65 feet each. RX is complemented by 6 Beverages ranging from 290 to 580 feet
each.
B) Old record of 495 Q's for 77K points was smoked by some 300 Q's and more
than double the points.
First night conditions were absolutely great...hated to see sunrise come.
Second night was obviously slower, but resulted in some additional Q's,
valuable mults, and system tests. W5UE was lead pilot for Friday night...W4II
was lead pilot for Saturday night...and K2FF was co-pilot operating early
morning hours both days picking up stray Q's/mults.
Always nice to hand out "MS" on TB!
