Comments:
Propagation was as if a mirror directed signals to very small area that changed
throughout the day. Band was absolutely dead for long periods (45+ minutes)
then 5 - 8 signals appeared. Except for last hours of contest, when there were
signals they were nothing less than S9. Band so dead Sunday before 10AM that I
strung a 10m resonant dipole to supplement the 30-10m doublet. Some
improvement but not a lot. Then someone turned the switch that lit up the band
to New England followed by gang busters to southern SA. Nice intro to 10m.
