Comments:
Just a part time effort. An hour here, 30mins there. Antennas worked well, but
bands were mostly uncooperative.
Nothing on 10m.
Found a handful of fellas in 5-land on 15m who were loud. (NN5O ex-WB5EIN
commented how loud I was - and he was too!....) then there were no more to work
except a couple KP2/4 types. Woosh, nobody home!
20m was "meh" with only a very few big signals and with skip at
medium distances I think the Midwest was having a field day!
So I went to 40m early (sunset) and found many big signals. Ran 40m and
S&P'd 20m dry then went to supper.
Supper turned into a movie with the family and at 10pm or something (local)
came band and ran a short stint on 80m, then 160m, then pulled the big switch.
Congrats to the fellas in DC......we'll see you all in the Sprint.
