Comments:
This was another WQ6X portable operation from W7AYT's QTH in Concord Ca. (East
Bay section)Other than 20 & 40 meters, band condx were overall poor.
10-meters didn't happen and 15 wasn't much better.
There was LoTs of QSB causing signal dropouts mid-contact, requiring a lot of
repeats. To maximize QSO time I made SO2V work quite well. When my ears
overloaded I was switch off VFO-B to regain my sanity.
The portable station utilized an FT-1000mp into a CH-250 vertical and Cobra
sloper @ 7mh.
The wildest callsign in the contest was XK150YUKON - Amazing.
Look for me in the SSB GiG.
