Comments:
Thanks to Bill N5YA for use of the station. This is the first NAQP I've done a
serious effort for in a long time.
I got creamed the first 4 hours, and the second half of the contest was better
than the first. Had some difficulties with Winkey therefore entire contest was
hand-sent and with one radio. Needless to say my hand was tired at the end.
Heard a LOT of mults that got away, especially on 20m and 15m. Interestingly
enough, 15m sounded 'OK' in the hour before NAQP started, and then promptly
went flat (Maybe E-skip?)
Interestingly enough W1 was nearly absent from 80/160. Also interesting to
read VE5MX's report... I appearantly worked him running 20w to a 80m inverted
vee on 160m.
Learned a lot and hopefully next time will break the 1000 QSO threshold.
73, Jason N5NU
