Comments:
Got on from 5:06 PM to 7:03 PM EST Saturday for a little fun between other
obligations. For the first 13 minutes, I ran. I made 26 Q's and then the
calls just stopped coming. I dunno why. Anyway, I spent the next hour
S&P'ing. Then I tried running again, and this run died after 12 minutes
and 19 Q's. Again, I dunno why. I spent the rest of my time S&P'ing.
I heard almost no DX, although I heard plenty of other US East Coast stations
working DX. I suppose the reason why I couldn't hear DX was the high noise
level at my urban QTH.
My antenna for both transmitting and receiving was a sloper, 70 ft long and 30
ft high.
