My 1st CQ WW 160 in 20 years or so. Great conditions to USA and parts of SA 1 st
day despite sun storm. 2nd day Asia opened up. I work Flex 6700 and a 27 m
Vertical.I usually work remote but this time technical hiccups made me abolish
this for this contest.
2nd day was tiresome not many new stations to work - rate went down (from 150
Q/h) to 10-20 Q/h. Chasing multipliers was tough with all the log checking and
"all ready worked". How do people cope with this? Must automate this
part. An inband antenna had made life easier.
What a nice contest on top band with all these "gentlemen" operating
and asking "QRL?"
