Comments:

I did not spend as much time o this contest as I had in past years.

Early Saturday morning I developed a problem in my home-brew SO2R control where
it would intermittently fail for one radio. After several hours of
trouble-shooting I finally found the problem to be caused an intermittent
wire-trace leading to one of two band decoder ICs on my antenna/BP-filter/PA
control board. This was for selecting the correct band for my band-pass
filters, and of course when it failed I could not receive nor transmit on that
band! It did not affect the other radio.

Then I had a prior commitment Sunday morning for church, so I missed both
Saturday and Sunday mornings during the prime European times.

Conditions obviously were not as good as past years either. I never heard
anyone on 10M and I struggled to work anyone in Europe on 15M. But this may
have been due to my not being on both mornings.

Otherwise I had fun and thanks to all for putting up with my
"erratic" operating!

73, Sam W4PK
