Comments:

FT1000MP, 100W, dipole, inverted vee. Jeff, KU8E, has my logging computer to
set up the W4AN/M station for the GA QSO Party this weekend, so I was doing the
NS in the K7SS style, all sending with the paddle and all logging by pen on
paper. 20M was dead at the start. 40M was quite good with skip shorter than
usual. For some reason, even with the ATU, the SWR on 40M was 3.0 to one. But
that didn't keep the great NS ops from copying me. 80M was good to the whole
country with no skip zone. A lack of activity from the fourth call area (only
myself and N8EA and K8MR from FL) kept score down a bit. Great to have AF5CC,
John, from OK, an old friend QRV. Also great to have Dave, K1SX, back again.
Dave is a QRP specialist who was a vital part of the ground crew for the team I
was referee for during WRTC 2014. On nights like last night, the 1st call area
becomes the QRP call area with K8CN and K1SX QRV. Thanks for all QSOs and hope
to work you all from W4AN/M in GQP this Saturday and Sunday. 73, John, K4BAI.
