Huge thank you to Pit, DK3WE, and his family for allowing us to operate from DL
this year. Their hospitality was second to none! Pit put a lot of work into
getting the station ready for us, and it was much appreciated. The station was
a Spiderbeam around 40 feet, and 40/80m wires.
We operated full M/2 as a check log and the cluster was used to gather maximum
information. The cluster didn't really help, but it was nice to know we didn't
miss any openings.
We had a fantastic vacation in Germany with a brief stay in OE on the way home.
The only regret was missing that little hamfest on the lake the following
weekend. Work schedules did not allow us to stay an extra few days to see
everyone, unfortunately.
It was really great competing with the other "WRTC Test" stations
scattered around Europe. Our full log will be posted on the WRTC website soon.
We are already looking forward to next year!!
