Comments:
This may be my favorite contest because I get to single op the mighty N6RO
station. It's also the one time I can practice semi-SO2R with my almost-deaf
ear. I'm getting better at it: Ken says I'm up to So1.3R.
10 started off with a bang, then I mostly went back and forth between 15 (which
was really good, all things considered) and 20. 40 was usable for some S&P
later in the afternoon, and 80 in the last 3 hours. Even with the PG&E
noise, I was able to work a few East coast on 160.
Due to a timing QLF on my part, one of my afternoon breaks was only 24 min, so
I assume they will truncate the end of my log, losing 4 mults and about 30 Qs.
The setup: K3 X 2, Yagi stacks, 4 squares on 80/160, N1MM+. How can I miss?
Thanks to Ken for use of the station and for his priceless contest Elmering.
