Comments:

Our WA friends OM and SS were down several S units tonight -- no surprise. Look
at DanWa's very clever comment.

Perhaps the best part of the Ladder is the ability to ditch low scoring weeks.
This was, for me at least, the example to end them all. The almost
minute-to-minute fluctuation of signals by many S units was notable. Mistakenly
tonight did not get to 160 meters soon enough ending up with less than half of
last week's score.

See you all in the big show this weekend, hoping for the possibly rare FL mult,
i.e. a hurricane shift away from people, houses, land and antennas. Monster
floods and now monster flares. . what's next. We're living on an active
volcano (Mt Konocti) and of course it's in earthquake country,. not to
mention 3122-Florence (E3), the asteroid that just missed us all this week. One
last chance to make a movie of 3122-Florence tomorrow night. . so far clouds and
smoke from Northern fires have prevented this activity.
