Comments:
Got the linear repaired... 1900Z 14 MHz started with a dozen of good US signals,
but it faded out 15 minutes later with a few hot spots (K1GQ W1RM) remaining for
10 minutes more. At 1954Z WC9Q was trying to break through peaking at 1957Z, but
no QSO at 1959Z --- Only 3 Europeans heard and worked on backscatter... Auroral
Hemisphere power stayed at 15 - 18 GW throughout the session... We're heading
to Wintertime condx with higher MUF and earlier closing of 14 MHz. Sunspots are
temporarily a little up... 1300Z will stay OK for Europe... evenings call for
