Comments:
Flex 6300, 5 watts, 40 meter inverted vee at 50 ft. Started out running HP on
80. Was wiping out WB2VYK on her 40 meter operation in the next room so I
decided to quit. I switched to 40, strongest signal on band was John, K4BAI,
and I worked him running 1 watt. 40 was so good I decided to continue QRP with
5 watts and report only that. Marty and I were able to both work on 40 at the
same time by alternating contacts. After 4 more contacts, I spent 8 minutes
calling W6SX, and after many ? he was able to pull out my call. Also managed
to get W7SW. Not nearly as many contacts, but QRP can really be fun when
conditions are right.
