This is the best contest format period. I love it!
Distance is the only factor and it levels the playing field with the east coast
at no big advantage (they can certainly make more Q's with Europe when 20 is not
open to the midwest or west). The band condx were very poor requiring multiple
repeats
but I had a great time and even with the 3 operating periods separated by 2
hour rest/sleep periods - I got some sleep. Terrific. I operated from my
Colorado shack.
Tnx everyone for the repeats. I even read a book during the slow periods.
Single op single xcvr-K3 with an Alpha 87A and SteppIr DB-36 @60 feet plus
wires.
