Comments:
Soapbox : We’re on countdown to heading to Senior Winter Campout in Arizona,
so K0CKB had no time at all, and I found about 16 hours. Couldn't do our usual
M1, so I decided to just try for max MWA score contribution, so ran in unlimited
(gasp!) category. Saturday evening was slow, but harvested a lot of mults.
Never saw/heard KP2, so missed our sweep. The other late holdout was NNY.
Expected that KP4 would be missing, but heard NP3A early. He was S&P’ing
on 40 --- heard him work a W2, so quickly planted myself upstream a couple of
KC’s and CQ’d. Luckily he was tuning “up band” and gave me a drive-by
QSO after my second CQ. Only used assistance twice, to find VY1AAA and NNY, so
won’t likely bother with that anymore.
Wish I had more time. Bands were soft Saturday afternoon/early evening, but
fairly decent the rest of the times that I got on.
