Comments:
K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care
retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC.
N3UM and W3GB operated Multi-One in 2017 CW SS, but for just
11 hr. since both of us had non-ham commitments. Our new JK Falcon
20/40 beam performed well, especially on 40. It helped us run
at good rates for the important first 4 hr., first on 20 m.and
then on 40 for 188 QSOs and 64 sections. We then found 4 scarce
mults and quit at 0216Z to sleep.
Sun. AM 1248-1548Z we got 116 Qs and 9 mults on 80, 40, and
20 m. Both ops then had to be away until the last 3 hr. It was
slow as is typical for Sun. PM SS, but we managed to scrape up
44 Qs and 2 more mults on 40.
Our last 6 mults were NLI, WTX, ME, SD, MB, and AK. We missed
NL, NNY, and (unsurprising but sad) never heard or saw VI or PR.
