Comments:
Contesting from a rural area 800 meters north of the equator can be quite
different. This weekend resulted in over a dozen flea and mosquito bites,
provided three power blackouts and one thunder storm, yet an incredible amount
of fun handing out zone 37 to the deserving. Operation at night was almost
impossible due to QRM at S 8 to 9 levels coming from local light installations.
Had to shut down on Sunday afternoon to transfer back to Entebbe. TNX all for
the Qs and an experience I shall never forget!
