Comments:

My 66-foot end-fed wire is still where Hurricane Irma relocated it in September:
max height maybe 20 feet instead of its former 30 feet or so. Makes a
difference. The far end of the wire used to be a little higher than the
rooftop; now the entire length is below. I heard maybe eight zones that could
not hear me; I usually can work just about everyone I can hear. 40 Meters has
always been my best band with this "antenna" but this weekend signals
were down in strength. I even had some trouble working the chip-shot Caribbean
from here. I did work several JAs but JA3YBK just CQed in my face both
mornings.

I'm going out on Monday morning to see if I can fix the antenna. Nosy
neighbors, snowbird arrivals, the HOA be damned. After 3.5 years here I figure
I have squatter's rights. At least I can work outside in shorts and a t-shirt.
