My best score and QSO total in this contest from VO2. My original goal was for
500 Q. After making 439 Qs in the first 24 hours, despite being off for 5.5
hours Friday night / Saturday morning and for about 10 hours starting early
Saturday afternoon, I upped the goal to 750 Qs. When I surpassed that around
noon on Sunday, I upped the goal to 1000 Qs. When it was apparent that wasn't
going to happen I set a goal of trying to make 100 Qs on 80-15m.
I QSYd every time I was asked, which was fewer than I expected. All were
successful except for one.
Only 2 dupes.
I'm glad I caught the 10m opening on Saturday! :=) My other QSO on 10m was a
QSY request (2nd attempt) on Sunday.
15m was much better on Saturday than Sunday. Hardly any EU on 15m on Sunday.
20m closed early both days.
Given my 160m antenna, and the condx on 10m, a 4 bander is my new 6 bander :=)
The following stations were worked on 4 bands: 9A1A, CN2AA, CR3W, EC2DX, ED8X,
EF8R, K0KX, K2LE, K8AZ, K9CT, N5DX, NR4M, P40L, TM6M, and W9PA. Only VE2IM was
worked on 5 bands.
Thanks for all the QSOs!
73,
Chris VE3FU / VO2AC
