Wow...67 Countries, best ever!...on new Inverted L that I put up in 30 minutes
to compare to my Shunt fed tower...no comparison...the L was so much better!
I noticed many Europeans as loud as US ...but primarily Friday night...and the
Europeans were coming in thru 08:00Z..well into daylight in Eastern Europe.
Saturday night was rough here...as many storms in Gulf of Mexico made copy
rough. Although the L was low noise, the lightening static crash was 30 over 9,
so I apologize to stations with 589-599 signals who called me where I lost a
letter due to these storms and asked for multiple repeats...it was NOT your
signal strength!! I should have stayed up on Friday night instead of Saturday!
Was amazed to get VY1AAA for YT...and thanks to K0KPH for NE which I missed last
year, my last State!! Nice to get both W3DQ and KE3X for DC.
Nice to get ZC4A for a new 160m country.
