Tower lowered down to around 20 feet (Didnt seem to be have any adverse effect)
we have near 60mph winds blowing through and heavy snow showers. Who would have
thought its Mid February!?!
Started off on 40, i heard Bruce N1LN and a few others CQing a few minutes
before the start bell with reasonable sigs.
So being heard here in broad daylight. Good sign
20 was electric. Amazing sigs from NA! Haven't seen it that good for a while.
Bud AA3B and Chas K3WW were peaking near 30db over.
Nice sigs from Marv N5AW and several others in 5 land.
Nice to work N0GEF, Greg in MN for the first time, Nice sig!
Band was just getting better and better as time went on.
Maybe get something at 1900z! Hopefully.
Looks promising for ARRL DX this weekend too. "IF" nothing untoward
happens up there beforehand!
