10 was in pretty good shape Saturday March 24 despite a solar flux of only 68,
with many loud northern and southern South American stations coming through.
Despite running only 5 watts to a 1/4 wave mobile whip, many stations worked on
one or two calls. Conditions seemed better than during the ARRL DX SSB. Sunday
March 25 poor in comparison, only a few CE and LU stations along with a very
loud YV1KK. The geomagnetic field was unsettled with a Kp to 4. This can help
boost the MUF on north - south paths around and crossing the geomagnetic
equator.
