Comments:
The CQ WPX SSB is over and we are all tired but really happy with the results.
We tought to be not competitive since the lack of Operators for half of the
contest wouldn't allow a good schedule.
After first 5minutes DXlog crashed several times and We had to switch to Wintest
istantly, losing the possibility to use the Number Server that is really useful
for this contest.
Despite what we tought all team members were happy to help somehow, even if for
only 2 hours or so and that allowed some rest for the full-time operators.
We finally used the station features developed last years without any doubt on
"how to use it" and it was the key point this time.
The low bands were full of stations but on 40/20m was just unbeliveble the QRM.
To be honest, we were all there, everyone wanted to run on a clean freq, so
basically that is what to expect when 15m are closed.
Nice to hear some good signal from US on 160m and 80m as well. Quite strange the
40m conditions where we expected more US. No comment on 15m where we only heard
tens of SA.
The highlight is the nice 20m opening just 4hours before the end: simply amazing
to run in a clean freq with US strong enough for a good pile up!
Priceless the last 2.5 hours with US on 40m: this run made the contest!
With TM6M in MS there is no space for top spot but we enjoyed the second spot
fight with other teams!
So We have fun, a lot!
