Comments:
Conditions seemed great, much better than recent weeks. SteppIR malfunctioning,
high SWR on 20, 15, and 10 Meters so used high power tuner (MFJ 998) to let me
work on those bands. A 36 foot ground mounted vertical did all the work on 40M
and it seemed to work much better than I had expected. Good job on that.
Mostly good behavior all around. There were a couple knuckleheads doing
deliberate QRM when they didn't get the call first, but it was rare that it
happened. A little bullying as the contest drew to closing.
I worked as long as I could, took a break to recover, then got back to it. It
was fun, in the final analysis.
