Comments:

I was only able to get on 4 bands but the good news is that was 4 more than I've
been on until the last few days. I got 222,903, 2304 and 3456 back on the air
after losing most of the ants (and a tower) in a micro burst back in May. A
shout out to Terry at Directive systems for his help in getting 903 and 2304
back on the air!

It was challenging to only be able to call CQ on 222. From past experience in
this contest there is more activity on 432. I operated about 5.5 hours on
Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday with Sunday's results probably the slowest
contest I've ever done. But I stuck with it and had fun getting back on the air.
I do wish there was more activity as this contest is a fun format. I'm getting
to like the distance scoring aspect too. I ended up averaging very close to 1K
per QSO. Interesting that though I had fewer QSO's on 3.4 vs 2.3G, 3.4 with its
higher multiplier generated a higher point total (See summary below).

Bands were so-so Saturday. Sunday am the APRS map showed some nice enhancement
from this area toward VE3. Sure enough VE3ZV was on and many S units louder than
normal on 222, was worked s8 on 903 SSB and then worked on 2304 SSB for a new
all time grid. Think that's the first one in about 6 years on that band. By the
time others got on the enhancement was mostly gone as the temperatures ratcheted
up quickly.

Tnx for the QSOs and to the ARRL for sponsoring the event. And Tnx to Mike,
N1JEZ for organizing out team entry - Go "Really Weak Signal Group"!
