Comments:
Nice to hear all the Summer's. Not a great start to the day. Turned the PC on
45 min early, did the weekly N1MM update. Finished that okay and then the PC
popped up a nice blue screen saying there was something wrong and the PC had to
restart. Went thru that twice and no joy. After a couple of power off's I was
able to get it to boot and tried backing up N1MM and DX4WIN to a CD. Got 45%
thru and the CD quit. Said a few cuss words and dug out a USB HD and plugged
that in and was able to back up everything. Restarted the PC and N1MM and my
winkey for the K3 would not work. A few more choice words we said. The winkey
for the Icom worked fine. By then it was 25 after the start time. Started out
on the Icom on 40. After a short run on 40, magic happened and the K3 Winkey
started working again. It spit out a whole lot of jibberish and then worked
okay. Need to finish backing up the PC while it is still functioning. Nice way
to start the day. Hope to be back for the next 2 sessions.
