In the AM mode on 80m and 40m I have a 50dB over S9 noise, presumably from a
power line nearby. I used the AM mode to really gauge the noise.
I called the power company and they are coming later this week. In the CW mode
the noise level is exactly S9 on those bands, and on 20m it's S8. It was
difficult copying even reasonably strong signals, so I abandoned the effort
entirely. Same likely for the 19z session.
