Station: N2SLN/P

Class: Single Op LP

Summary:
Total: QSOs = 16 Mults = 11 Tot Dist(km) = 0 Total Score = 176

Club:

Comments:

Operated only the first half due to a change in work hours that came up
suddenly. With Hurricane Florence remnants generating a Flash Flood Watch an
hour before sprint time, I decided not to set up a beam antenna outside on my
contest van and just use the loop already mounted to the roof. I wasn't
expecting a good result with such a compromise antenna, but I was pleasantly
surprised at the activity level and the propagation not being ruined by the low
pressure system. Best DX was 336 miles / 540 km into Virginia from central NY,
and that was on SSB.
