Comments:
Murphy came along for the ride this year. 5 1/2 hour drive to site and had gas
can fall over in utility trailer on rough road and spilled over 2 gallons of the
5 I brought for generator. Nearest gas station was over 2 hours away. Then
discovered I had left the power cord to my IC 7300 at home!!!The back up rig I
brought was the FT 450 Yaesu which is a lousy rig to put it mildly. Then
couldn't get logging software to key the rig so ended up sending CW manually the
whole contest,ugh! My annual field day style worked out ok I guess but I could
have done better. Due to concerns about running out of gas I cut my operating
time back quite a bit. I missed MS and VT for mults. I hope those who needed
TRIN were able to find me.
