Comments:
Was on the fence about working this one, with several issues on antennas and an
old, noisy B&W borrowed linear. But N2IC talked me into a SB effort on 15.
There was a weak run on JA's Friday evening, but nothing to get excited about,
conditions were poor. Some opening to Europe Sat morning, but a struggle with
weak copy and huge pileups. The afternoon was ho-hum with a very weak JA opening
Sat evening. I gave it up with 380/27/77.
Sunday morning was a bit of a surprise with much stronger signals from Europe,
and a few other DX. The afternoon dragged on, but produced a few more mults. I
was really hoping for a strong JA finish to get the score up. I ran pointed to
JA the last 2-1/2 hours, BUT only put five more in the log! A few ZL's &
VK's got into the log. The only surprise was when a strong YJ0CA called me at
2312!
I was surprised at the finish to see that I somehow added 20 more countries on
Sunday.
