Comments:
CQWWCW is my favorite contest. I like marathons much better than sprints. I just
work every station I can, and most of them hear me. This year, a larger fraction
of them did not hear me, and I didn't have any success with CQing. This score is
7% less than last year's. Friday night was windy and raining, so I did not fly a
He balloon that night. The wx cleared on Saturday and I launched 130' of Al
welding wire with a 4' diameter He balloon. It helps noticeably on 80 and 160. I
added CN to my 80m (100W) total, bringing it up to 179. I was pleasantly
surprised to work CN3A on 80 (5W!).
Thanks to all the ops who stuck with me to complete the QSO.
