About Hilltop

ZW8T is a small and cosy station nearby Teresina City, Northeast Brazil, owned
and maintained by Milton, PS8HF. Almost all towers and antennas are homemade by
Milton's hand. All 4 towers are on top of small hill, clear view for almost flat
horizon.
10m: 6x6x6 elem @ 25/16/9m
15m: 6x6 elem @ 30/15m
20m: 5x5 elem @ 27/17m
40m: 3 elem @ 20m
80m: dipole @ 15m
Rig: 2x FT-950 @ 100Watts + 2x DuneStar PassBand filters + Hamplus antenna

There's No fancy tech, no automation, no Internet, but the station is just
enough to have fun on 'boys n' radios' fashioned style.
About CQWW
----------
40m is great from Hilltop. No QRM at all, and visceral pileup from EU early on
night, and big messy with EU/NA latter on night. On 80m, dipole and 100Watts is
not perfect, but low noise allows work even small lot station from EU/NA.
14Mhz is the band for money. Great pileup all over the globe. 15m poor
propagation and 10m as well.
We end up with ~3K QSOs and 3mi points. Not bad for Boy n' Radios weekend.

Personal Note: Milton is one of most endeavor man I ever met. He keeps improving
his station, despite all odds against it.
