Comments:

That was a lot of fun! 40 is the new 20!

10M- never heard a station outside W1. K1TTT was calling CQ and not getting any
answers, so I called him. That was my one QSO on 10m, until I called a few CQs
Sunday afternoon when I was getting bored, and another local called me. Never
heard anyone further than 100 miles away all weekend on 10m.

15M: Forced runs there. Not high volume of QSOs, but high volume of mults.
Seemed to be spotlight propagation here into Europe. Based on this contest, 15m
is the new 10!

20M: Bottomless pit. Always activity, unless it was dark outside. I tuned the
band several times overnight- never heard anyone. No one was there. Saturday
afternoon, RBN reports said I was loud in Europe, but rate remained about 50/Hr.
I think 40m was so good, the Europeans all went there!

40M: Great this weekend! I was one of the few NA stations that worked YB9/K1XM,
working him LP Saturday afternoon. Was able break pileups for a number of Z21
stations Sunday afternoon, still broad daylight outside here.

80M: Weakest band at this station at this time. Could never get good runs
going, although it seemed I could work anyone I could hear.

160M: Surprised me. Antennas are vertical dipoles arranged so that they provide
reflector support when not energized. I had no problems working anything that I
could hear.

Thanks to Fred K1VR, for the use of his great station! Most of all, it was a
lot of fun!

Dennis W1UE
