Had every intention of taking this weekend off. Ran a quick 50 stations early
Friday night before going out. Came home and ran another 50 or so. My
intentions were just to check out a "new" 160M loop. Intended on
going back out on Saturday night too, but plans changed, so decided to stay home
and put a few more hours into the contest to entertain myself. Ran LP to
challenge the antenna, and it seemed to work out decently. Broke a few mild
pileups for rarer mults, like ND, ZF, etc. The thrill of the weekend came when
I worked OL1A and then TM6M called me during a run. The band seemed good, but
the QRN was killing me on both nights. Last year made over 700 Q's in a more of
a full time effort, so this year was just a part-time stint.
