Comments:
I spent my radio time this weekend in the ARRL 160 Meter Contest, and then after
I got up Sunday needed to go to Christmas concert with my wife and dinner with
friends, but I managed an hour on Sunday afternoon. This was interesting, but so
far I'm not sold on FT8 as a replacement for RTTY contesting (says the guy who
has been RTTY contesting since the 1980s :-) ). We'll see.
Many thanks to AA5AU and W0YK and K1JT and team for all the work to make this
feasible, and the excellent tutorials to get us started. I had never seen WSJT-X
2.0 before Sunday afternoon, but following the instructions was up and running
and starting to understand the rhythm in about 30 minutes.
