Comments:
Even with the antenna tuner the HF9V on the roof won't tune 40 at all, but it
gets 1:1 on 80. On 20 the tuner does nothing, but the transceiver can handle the
antenna's 2.3:1 SWR. I miss 40! Guess I have to get back up on the roof one of
these days.
The amplifier arrived from the shop yesterday. I'm kind of afraid to reinstall
it, considering the damage the high SWRs did.
