Comments:
Just returned from Wyoming QTH and unpacked the K3 late this morning and didn't
get started until a bit after noon today. Decided to run low power as I hadn't
had a chance to fully check things out with antenna system and had found a
burned connector at the antenna switch and VSWR readings were a bit high. Still
recovering from drive but surprised myself with a bigger score than I
anticipated. Made no FT8 QSO's as my RTTY rates made it seem that there was no
reason to switch. Maybe, if I had been in the contest longer I would have done
some FT8. I love the mode for weak signal work, but not yet for HF contesting.
